Let's Jam
G5Jam Express allows you to add two more drives inside your Dual Core G5*, for a total of four drives inside. Video editors and photographers will use G5Jam Express to RAID their new drives in software for stunning mountable volume sizes and read/write speeds (over 220MB/s!)

What you get
G5Jam Express fits right up in the front of your G5. It consists of a solid mounting base plate and bracket for drives, as well as special internal power and SATA cabling for routing to a PCI SATA card. G5Jam Express will work with any PCI Express SATA card with internal SATA ports. And it's easy to install. It only takes minutes to install G5Jam Express into a Dual Core G5.




Cool design
There's a lot of air flow in the Dual Core G5s, but we still all worry about heat - especially with hard drives. G5Jam Express takes advantage of the excellent airflow inside the Dual Core G5. With the G5Jam Express, there's plenty of cooling space for air circulation between the new drives, and heat dissipates through the mounting plate.

*G5Jam Express is for the Dual Core G5 or Quad (Dual Dual Core) G5s with the PCI Express slot. For older G5s, please see G5Jam and G5Jam+.

Additional Storage Capacity

Supports any two SATA drives to allow up to 2 Terabytes of storage to be mounted inside the G5.

Supports OS X Soft RAID

Provides performance in excess of 200MB/sec when properly RAIDed. Drives may also be configured individually.

Supports HD Editing

May support 1080i across the entire disk map - performance does degrade as written cylinder count increases.
