WICHITA, KS -- June 4, 2007 -- WiebeTech is introducing the ability for field agents and investigators to customize Forensic Field Kits for their own unique operations. All current kit versions will be available empty - case and foam only - to allow customers to adjust the contents to suit their needs. All Field Kit Configurations, including custom, are available now.
All current Forensic Field Kits are still available and include the the latest version of each product, such as WiebeTech's newest Fourth Generation DriveDocks and Combo Adapters which allow easy, portable imaging of suspect drives during investigations. With this initiative WiebeTech has reduced prices on many current models to make room for new models which have been added to the lineup.
"Customer demand and a desire to offer flexibility and adaptability was the basis for the decision to offer customizable field kits," said James Wiebe, President/CEO of WiebeTech LLC. "The revised Forensic Field Kit line uses a new product code method that groups all the kits logically, making it easier for customers to find the right kit for them or start a new kit."
All Forensic Field Kits come in a sturdy Pelican hard case and provide portable access to hard drive data. Everything required to image hard drives in the field (with the exception of SCSI hard drives) is included. All an investigator needs is a laptop computer and imaging software.
Customers are encouraged to contact WiebeTech directly and speak with a sales person (1-866-744-8722, ext. 2, toll free) who can assist in building each kit from the ground up.
Dealers may purchase WiebeTech products from Synnex or Dr. Bott. End users may purchase from PCMall, MacMall or PC Connection. Government customers are encouraged to purchase from Lyme Computer, CDW-G or PCMallGov. All products are available directly from WiebeTech at wiebetech.com.
