We have many customers with Massive storage from WiebeTech fueling their productions at all levels -- from home movies to summer blockbusters. WiebeTech products have been used in production and on set in the show "24" and the Transformers Movie (look for WiebeTech products on screen in both!)
Here are some recommendations, based on our experience:
We know that you'll find several of our products useful during multimedia production.
For example, check out SilverSATA II SR.
Director Gregg Simon gave an interview to HD Studio outlining his strategy using the hardware-based automatic mirroring of SilverSATA II SR:
From the article:

Gregg: We're planning on having three P2 cards at each shoot. Two get loaded into the camera immediately, and the third is on standby. When we fill up the first P2 card, we remove it from the camera and replace it with the standby card. We take the filled card and load it onto our laptop PC through the PCMCIA slot. We then drag the files over to a WiebeTech SilverSATA-II storage system, with two 100 GB internal SATA drives. That's where all of the day's material will live. Since it's a RAID-protected array, we can move files on and off the two drives quickly through a SATA or USB cable.
At the end of the day, we take the two 100 GB drives, out them into enclosure and give one to the client. The other serves as a backup, in case data is lost on one drive.

Start thinking about hard disks as a "really big floppy disk," with RTX100. Swapping drives in and out has never been so easy. Pop one in and close the door - and that's it. You're accessing up to a terabyte of data.
RTX is also available in 4 bay (up to 4TB) or 6 bay (up to 6TB) versions, and more to come. If you need a very quiet solution, check out iSCSI - two great things about iSCSI: It connects to your network port (You could, but you don't need to spend more for a host card), and it doesn't even have to be in the same room with you (anywhere on your network!) making it a very quiet solution to access data at up to 100MB/s. Only need fast access and lots of it? Ultra320 SCSI gives up to 320MB/s.
For massive storage, see SilverSATA V or ProSATA SS8, an 8 bay, 8TB, 320 MB/s powerhouse.
For super quick Docking access to bare hard drives, nothing beats a ComboDock.
